MONDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2017 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Nov Checks # 14095 – 14096 & Dec Checks # 14097 – 14132 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 5 residents and 2 non- residents, including Jake from The Messenger and Tanya Necedah School Administrator. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the November 13, 2017 Regular Town Board Meeting & November 14, 2017 Public Budget Hearing, Elector Town Meeting and Special Town Board Meeting as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s November 30, 2017 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: We have been cutting trees and brush from ditches, organizing the garage, getting prices for 2018 projects, everything is ready for winter, plows & sand/salt. CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 5 incidents: trash issue, ATV, and property check. APPROVE ORDINANCE # 2-2017 TREASURER’S BOND FOR TAX COLLECTING: Motion by Hodal to approve Ordinance #2-2017 Treasurer’s Bond for Tax Collecting as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVE THE 2018-2019 ELECTION POLL WORKER LIST: Motion by Schumer to approve the 2018-2019 Poll Workers List as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVE BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS TO 2017 BUDGET: Motion by Schumer to approve the Amend 2017 Budget to Actual Expenses list as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS: A Thank you for cleaning up the property at 18th Ave & Cty Rd G, done by the County. MOTION & ROLL VOTE TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION PER WI STATUE 19.85(1)(C) CONSIDERING EMPLOYEES COMPENSATION/STATUS/HOURS RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION: Motion by Hodal to go into closed session for WI Statue 19.85(1)(C), seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3 at 6:50 pm. RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION: Motion by Hodal to reconvene into open session, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3 at 7:45 pm. MOTION, IF NECESSARY FROM THE MATTER DISCUSSED IN CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT: None NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH: Monday January 8, 2018 at 6:30 pm, ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 7:50 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
