THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2017 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Aug Checks # 13975 – 13977 & Sept Checks # 13978 – 14003 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:34 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. : ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisor George Schumer, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 13 residents and 2 non-residents Amy Luebke from DNR and Tanya Necedah School Administrator. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the August 14, 2017 Regular Town Board Meeting, and August 24, 2017 Special Town Board Meeting, with one change 19th St to 19th Ave by Woodbine, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s August 31, 2017 report as presented, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: 11th Ave and 25th St completely rebuilt. Mowing and brushing. Patching and wedging, Sealcoat 22nd St. CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 5 incidents: trash issue, ATV, and property check. APPROVE RESOLUTION NO.# 2017-4 ADOPTION OF THE NECEDAH AREA COMMUNITY WILDFIRE PROTECTION PLAN (2018-2022): Motion by Schumer to approve Resolution # 2017-4 Adoption of the Necedah Area Community Wildfire Protection Plan (2018-2022), seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. APPROVE AUNIFORM ALLOWANCE FOR FULL TIME EMPLOYEES, INSTEAD OF CONTRACTED UNIFORM SERVICE: Motion by Schumer to approve a $150.00 clothing allowance for 2018 for each full time employee starting in January of 2018, and pro-rate 2017 for allowance of $50.00, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. SET BUDGET WORKSHOP: Tuesday September 26 at 6:30 pm. REVIEW GEC FEE SCHEDULE WITH WORDING IN ORDINANCE # 10 & ORDINANCE #30: Tabled NEED TO CHANGE NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH: Due to WTA Conference. Motion by Schumer to change October meeting to Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 6:30 pm, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. PUBLIC COMMENTS: The ghost fire #, which has been resolved. ATV issue with gravel by Baptist Church on 23rd Ave. ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 7:21 pm, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2.
