MONDAY, JUNE 12, 2017 AT 6:30 PM FOLLOWING BOARD OF REVIEW, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: May Checks # 13843 – 13846 & Jun Checks # 13847 – 13880 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:45 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. : ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisor George Schumer, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Carl Bezemek was excused at fire. Also present were 11 residents and 2 non-residents (Star-Times & Messenger). ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the May 8, 2017 Regular Town Board Meeting and Special Board of Review Meeting, and May 17, 2017 Special Town Board Meeting as presented, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s May 31, 2017 report as presented, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Road Supervisor resigned June 2, 2017. Taft reported that gravel to Refuge roads, working on mowing, some tree removal and a partial removal of road weight band. CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 8 incidents: trash, storm spotting, ATV, burning and property check. Discussion of the pit bull mix dog bite on 17th Ave. APPROVAL OF REMAINDER (JUNE 13-30, 2017)OF THE 2016-2017 LIQUOR LICENSE FOR STAR ROUTE MOTEL AND LOUNGE INC TO BE SURRENDERED: Motion by Schumer to approve the surrendered of Star Route Motel and Lounge Inc liquor license to for June 13 – 30, 2017, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. APPROVAL OF LIQUOR LICENSES FOR 2017-2018: o WOODBINE INN INC o EASTWICK CORP, D/B/A REEL INN o ROADHOUSE PUB & GRUB LLC o BRIAN MILLER, D/B/A WILDERNESS INN o MARTY E. WILCOX, D/B/A ROCK STAR ROUTE BAR AND GRILL, STARTING JUNE 13, 2017 Motion by Schumer to approve the five (5) above named businesses for their 2017- 2018 liquor licenses, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. APPROVAL OF PICNIC LICENSE FOR QUEEN OF HOLY ROSARY SUMMERFEST ON AUGUST 26, 2017: Motion by Schumer to approve Queen of Holy Rosary Summerfest picnic license, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR, POSITION TO BE FILLED, AN APPOINTMENT: Tabled SLOW NO-WAKE AT N10098 COUNTY ROAD G: Tabled, no one present APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION 2017-3 MUNICIPAL COURT BOND SCHEDULE FOR VIOLATIONS: Motion by Schumer to approve Resolution 2017-3 Municipal Court Bond Schedule for Violations, seconded by Taft and carried aye-2.
