1 MONDAY, FEBRUARY13, 2017 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Jan Checks # 13657 – 13663 & Feb Checks # 13664 – 13668 CALL TO ORDER: Meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors Georg Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Darrell Santana, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 29 residents and 2 non-residents (reporters). ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Hodal to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the January 9, 2017 Regular Town Board Meeting, and January 19, 2017 Town Caucus as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s January 31, 2017 report as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR’S REPORT: We had some rough weather lots of icy roads, used all sand/salt, and ordered more. The Western Star had transmission problems. We have been fixing street signs. CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 5 incidents, dealt with accident, RR, & trash. CHAIRMAN REPORT: Union Pacific RR grant awarded more information in May. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Discussion of icy roads, why the plow blade is not put down more. Discussion of sand/salt and Village. Discussion of budget to actual. Ginny Hodal announced she would be a write-in candidate for Supervisor on April 4, 2017 election. Bob Belli asked for a Meet the Candidate. AMEND ORDINANCE #5 REGULATING THE STORAGE & USE OF CAMPING UNITS & CAMPING: Motion by Hodal to adopt the amended Ordinance #5 Camping as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. 2 “DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY TO KEVIN HENRIKSON OF GEC” DUE TO 2015 WISCONSIN ACT 211 FOR ONLINE BUILDING PERMITS: Motion by Hodal to delegate Kevin Henrikson of GEC for online building permits, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. UP TO 6 ELECTION POLL WORKERS FOR FEBRUARY 21, 2017 SPRING PRIMARY: Motion by Schumer to approve up to 6 poll workers for February 21, 2017 election, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, March 13, 2017 AT 6:30 PM. NECEDAH SCHOOL BOARD REFERENDUM INFORMATIONAL MEETING ON THURSDAY MARCH 21, 2017 AT 6:30 pm AT THE NECEDAH ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 7:15 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
