Village of Benton March 1, 2022 Special Meeting Minutes Members present: Gary McCrea, Chuck Wartner, Katey Neis, Jill Knight, and Kenneth Farrey Absent members: Cal Robbins, Terry Sheffer Village employees present: Sonya Silvers Others Present: The special board meeting of the Benton Village Board was called to order by Village President, Gary McCrea, at 9:00 a.m. in the conference room of the Benton Business Incubator Building at 244 Ridge Avenue on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. In compliance with the open meeting law, proper notice of the meeting had been posted in four public places; the Zephyr Depot, Benton State Bank, Benton Post Office, and the Benton Business Incubator Building. Sonya presented Resolution 2022-01 authorizing the Village President and the Village Clerk to execute real estate sales, purchases, and development agreements in the Village of Benton. Motion (Knight, Neis) to approve the Resolution 2022-01 authorizing the Village President and the Village Clerk to execute real estate sales, purchases, and development agreements in the Village of Benton. Roll-all ayes. Carried Meeting adjourned at 9:01 a.m. Motion (Farrey, Neis) to adjourn. Voice-all ayes. Carried
