Town of Schley Plan Commission Meeting Minutes – December 21st, 2023 1. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM. 2. Commission members present: Craig Brown, Joe Polak, Lea Ratajczyk and Earl Welker. Tony Dallman was excused. 3. Public meeting notice was verified by Craig. 4. M/S Joe/Craig to approve minutes from the November 16th Plan Commission Meeting. A roll call vote was conducted. All Ayes. Motion carried. 5. Reports/miscellaneous items discussed: *Earl brought the commission’s recommendation to the Town Board to approve the county’s proposed Chapter 17 amendments with the exception of eliminating the Conditional Use requirement for Home Occupation and Home Occupation, Expanded requests. 6. Public comment: none 7. A) Members reviewed proposed amendments to the county’s Zoning Ordinance Text Edits – Chapter 17 regarding Variances and Board of Adjustment. As proposed, the Board of Adjustments would no longer hear and decide appeals related to Conditional Use Permit requests and Variance requests would require a Certified Survey Map rather than a sketch of subject site. M/S Earl/Craig to recommend approving proposed amendments. A roll call vote was conducted. All Ayes. Motion carried. 8. Discussion and possible action for upcoming meeting: none. 9.
