Minutes of Budget Meetings – November 15, 2023 Chairman Klimek called the 2024 Budget meeting of the Town of Schley to order on November 15, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Schley Town Hall. Pledge of Allegiance In attendance: Klimek, Brown. Plamann, Podeweltz, Dallman. Verification of posting of meeting notice. Proposed 2024 budget presented & reviewed. Discussion held on shared revenue increase, culvert revenue, and managed forest revenue. Discussion on Town Board salaries, election expenses, and road maintenance. Eugene Cummings motioned to adjourn, 2nd by Kelly Collins. All ayes. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:10 p.m. Chairman Klimek called the special elector meeting to approve the 2023 tax levy to be collected in 2024 to order at 6:11 p.m. Motion to approve the 2023 tax levy of $125,562 to be collected in 2024 by Mary Ann Gretenhardt, 2nd by Diana Petruzates. All ayes. Motion carried. Eugene Cummings motioned to adjourn, 2nd by Earl Welker. All ayes. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:12 p.m. Chairman Klimek called the meeting of the Town of Schley, to Adopt the 2024 Budget, to order at 6:13 p.m. Brown motioned to adopt the proposed 2024 budget, 2nd by Klimek.
