County Board Room, Montello WI. Chairman Borzick called the meeting to order at 11:30 am. Members: Ken Borzick, Mike Raddatz, Kathleen McGwin(virtual), Karen Christensen, Karen Wampler, Jeff Frazer(virtual). Others: Morgan Kepler, Ron Barger. Raddatz, 2nd by Wampler, motion to approve Agenda. Motion Carried. Raddatz, 2nd by Fraser motion to approve October 2025 Meeting Minutes. Motion Carried. Kepler gave Monthly Report. Buffalo Dam Lock Chamber construction Scheduled for late 2026. Pat has been attending pre-design/bid meetings, commenting on parts of plan that affect County managed portion of Krakow. Invasives removal/treatment and brushing have been on-going at Krakow (along embankment), Lower Locks and Muir. High Marq Students held field day along with Staff cleaning Natural Playground and removing invasives/stacking brush at Muir. Matt attended chainsaw use training with Hwy. Dept. Trees along Lower Locks Road were used as specimens for the training 3 bat houses were donated by Eagle Scout Student and will be placed at County owned parks. Winterizing/closure of Properties completed: bathrooms pumped/locked, barricades and snowplow markers placed. Docks removed from lakes. Fraser updated Committee on City of Montello receiving Trail Community Designation and how there will be signs advertising this placed outside of Montello to help promote the Trail. Fraser, 2nd by Wampler, motion to approve Kilbey writing and submitting a letter on behalf of the Committee supporting the City of Montello earning Trail Community Status through the Ice Age Trail Alliance. Motion Carried. McGwin attempted to give Muir Historical Route App. update. Due to connection issues, it could not be done. Committee reviewed October-December 2026 Expenses. Meeting was adjourned by Chair.
