1 CITY OF AMERY DOWNTOWN FAÇADE COMMITTEE PROCEEDINGS September 18 th , 202 3 The Downtown Façade Committee of the City of Amery met on September 18 th , 2023 at the Amery City Center. Chairperson, Overby called the meeting to order at 9: 05 A.M. Present: Members, Shari Overby , Ginny Ormsby, Sarah Flanum, and Paul Shafer . Absent: Rich Smith. Staff Present: Ci ty Clerk -Treasurer , Ben Jansen ; and Deputy Clerk-Treasurer, Taylor Larson. Staff Absent: None . Others Present: Ryan Collins . Discussion/Action – Façade Loan Application for Buck Creek Holdings Ryan Collins of Edward Jones was present to discuss his project and new building on Keller Ave. He has already started work on the building and much of the exterior work is almost done. He is seeking a loan of $60,000 to pay off the costs of the exterior work and to complete the interior renovations. He is hopeful that he will be able to expand in the near future as well. The financials for his application all checked out and the Committee was in favor of approving the loan. Motion by Member, Ormsby , seconded by Member, Shafer to approve the loan of $ 60,000 to Buck Creek Holdings . Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion Carried Motion by Member, Flanum , seconded by Member, Shafer to adjourn at 9: 18 a .m.
