PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES – 9/12/2024 Government Unit Conducting Meeting: Plan Commission Date: September 12, 2024 Time: 4:30 P.M. Place: 410 Division Street, Park Falls, WI 54552 Members of the Board of Plan Commission Present – Mayor Tara Tervort, Victor Ambrose, Michael Mader, Dixie Weidman, Gary Wollerman, Lauri Hart Members of the Board of Plan Commission Absent – Michelle Scharp Staff: City of Park Falls Zoning Administrator Scott Kluver Public: None The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tara Tervort at 4:30 pm. Public Comment – None. Discussion on Comprehensive Plan/Land Use Amendment – Discussion occurred on the Land Use map and the reasons for the proposed amendment on the “Touhy Property.” Additional changes were proposed for the Tower Road Housing developments (two parcels) from C-1 to R-2, and the property the City owns for potential industrial development west of the school (this parcel is not shown on the map but should be industrial) and correcting the northwestern most parcel of the school from Agriculture to Conservancy. Approval of Resolution 2024-02 Amending the Park Falls Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map- There was a motion by Alderman Wiedman and seconded by Ambrose to approve with the discussed amendments.
