DRAFT TOWN OF STUBBS LANDFILL NEGOTIATION COMMITTEE CLOSED SESSION MEETING September 24, 2026 • N3305 S. Hutchinson Road, Bruce, WI 54819 Attendance: Annie Huiras, Chairman; Jim Zak, Member; Caroline VanDerLoop, Clerk Others in attendance: Justin Andrews, Weld Riley attorney, by phone. Meeting called to order 1. Motion Jim Zak / Annie Huiras 2 nd to approve the 20 July meeting minutes Motion carried unanimously. 2. Motion Jim Zak / Annie Huiras 2nd to go into closed session at 9:01 a.m. to discuss a response to the most recent negotiation terms offered by Waste Management per Wis. Stat. 19.85 1(e) Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. Motion carried unanimously. 3. Committee addressed the counter proposal from Waste Management and discussed details. 4. Motion Jim Zak / Annie Huiras 2 nd to reconvene into open session to adjourn Motion carried unanimously. 5. Motion Jim Zak /Annie Huiras 2nd to adjourn the meeting Motion carried unanimously. 6.
