AGENDA •TOWN OF STUBBS • MONTHLY BOARD MEETING Town Hall, N3305 S. Hutchinson Road, Bruce • September 9, 2024 • 6:00PM 1. Call Town Meeting to order and Pledge of Allegiance 2. Approve minutes from August Meeting 3. Approval of Financial Report. Clerk and Treasurer exchange vouchers and verify bank balances. 4. Discuss amending Resolution 2019-5 to reorder the town meeting agenda to put bills approval here. 5. Discuss limiting monthly meeting time to 2 hours maximum. 6. PUBLIC COMMENT - Limit to 5 minutes per person with a maximum public comment of 30 minutes on agenda items only. 7. Old Business: Status of undeveloped streets in Apollonia including Anderson Lane: Culvert inventory status: Update from Attorneys regarding Site Plan Draft; 8. Discuss hiring John Grieves to trap beavers at the culvert on Tyman Rd. for $30.00/tail and dam to be removed, cost to be shared w/Atlanta, 9. Discuss hiring Scott Gudis for the following road projects: adding culvert on Jones Rd (we have culvert), replacing culvert on S. Hutchinson (18" x 50' plastic culvert ordered-cost $660. and band $30.),install new culvert in Jerry Jaskierny's driveway (Jerry pays for culvert and installation), repair frost boil on Ranch Rd, and ditching on Right of Way Rd., 10. Discuss laying double chip seal north/south section of Y intersection of Tyman and Hwy F for $4500 total, our share $2250 (Strickland pays other half), also from Y intersection going 100' east on Tyman for $1150, our share $575 (Atlanta pays other half) , for a total cost to us of $2825. for both sections of road. 11. Discuss allowing the Lake Association to use the town parking lot for their UTV ride on Saturday, Sept. 21st. 12. Discuss Road maintenance and repairs referencing Road Projects List. 13. Discuss Stefczak Lane becoming a town road. 14. Discuss a speed limit or T sign on River Road before Lorkowsky Lane to the east. 15. Discuss Culvert Aid Application 16. Discuss a wake policy for Lake Amacoy. 17. Discuss putting guard rails on S. Hutchinson bridge. 18. Discuss hiring a grant writer to assist with all the road grants. 19. Discuss vacant treasurer position. 20. Discuss Bruce Library budget. 21. Discuss a date for the meeting on the 2025 Budget. 22. Discuss appointing Val Richter as a poll worker. 23. Discuss ordering more Black toner for the printer. 24. Announcements and Review of Correspondence. 25. Clerk update on Landfill Passes and Building Permits: 26. Approval of monthly bills for payment. Review bills paid using ACP*. Approve the transfer of funds as necessary. 27. Items intended for Future Meetings: 28. Set date for next meeting. 29.
