This hallway will be identical to Circuit Court 1 hallway. This was not done during the construction. IV. Page 5 of 15 Sawyer County Airport Management Report May 2025 (Provided by Airport Manager Derek Leslie) -There has been an increase in traffic month over. Jet traffic has remained as usual but there’s been a significant drop in small aircraft operations. - Myself and the Administrator had a team’s meeting with the State BOA the third week of April. We reviewed the various funding sources available to the airport and properly programming them. Somewhat unexpectedly the Regional FAA ADO (airport district office), slowed down the Master Plan process. I reported last month that we should be beginning the ALP (airport layout plan) and the anticipated finish date would be in the fall time period potentially. NOW, we don’t know as the FAA wants more time to review. - Administrator Mike and I were both at the BOA aviation conference in Stevens Point. This is more or less continuing education for an airport manager. The two annual aviation conferences each year also offer a good opportunity to network with other airports and communities. -Hannah Bay Holdings has a 30-year hangar lease coming up in July. As always airport management comments on the situation. In this instance I would recommend the new hangar lease template be drafted for this individual hangar owner, on Agenda for June. Dan is a very active pilot and is also involved in the EAA and its young eagles’ program. - Snow Removal Equipment, not looking likely for FY2026. We sadly may not see it at all the winter of 26/27. The biggest hang up again is with the buy American Waivers required as part of the process with the winning bidder and the FAA. -Jet fuel prices have come down significantly. Not nearly as low as before the latest world conflict but prices have been trending down now three weeks in a row. Avgas remains high, as does fuel at the pumps in town. Special thanks to the outgoing board supervisors and a welcome to the new members.
