attention to the upcoming annual festivals and holidays that will begin in the spring.
• We are actively hiring for a full-time patrol deputy to fill the vacancy created by our recent
retirements and promotions. We hope to have this position filled in the coming month.
• We have begun receiving the first of our 2026 squad cars, with them gping through the
upfitting process with our vendor in Eau Claire.
• We are applying for another body – cam grant with the Small Rural & Tribal BWC
Program under the US DOJ to assist us in sustaining our current program whose contract
ends in 2027.
