Summary:
Holiday Party
The County holiday party was held on December 12 and had approximately 115 attendees. Post-event feedback was
collected through an attendee survey covering the venue, food, beverages, entertainment, raffle baskets, and overall
experience. The survey also asked employees whether they would prefer to keep the traditional holiday party format
or consider a broader annual celebration in the future (e.g., fall or spring family-friendly events), as well as interest
in serving on an event planning committee. Survey results will be reviewed to inform planning for future employee
events.
Employee Engagement Survey
The County-wide employee engagement survey launched on December 12 and remains open through December 22.
Employees were notified at launch and encouraged to participate to provide candid feedback. Results will be
analyzed after the survey closes and will be used to identify organizational strengths, improvement opportunities,
and priority focus areas for leadership.
Employee Education and Benefits Outreach
During December, HR continued to promote employee education related to benefits and retirement planning. This
included sharing information on Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) resources, ETF learning opportunities, and
deferred compensation education. These efforts are part of ongoing outreach to help employees better understand
and plan for their benefits and long-term financial wellbeing.
