Present: Chairman Leider, Commissioners Jentges, Janik, Koeppen, Mishefske, Clarke, and Winquist, and Clerk Jenkins. In audience: Bob Eichner, Brady and Daniel Watry, Christine Luft, and John Depies. 2- Approval of Agenda: -Motion to Approve by Winquist, 2nd by Janik. Approved Unanimously. 3- Public Comments (Comments are limited to 3 minutes, and may only be regarding Items on the Agenda): Christine Luft: Stated she is not in favor for DR Ag as there is no barrier to nearby properties. Also stated she did not receive a public hearing notice. Asked for the public hearing to be rescheduled. 4- Minutes: Discussion and possible action to approve minutes of the February 5th, 2025 meeting. - Motion to Approve by Janik, 2nd by Winquist. Mishefske Abstained. Approved 6-0 with 1 abstention. 5- Consideration to Grant a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to allow for the construction of a new 70x190 pole barn and installation of a gravel driveway and 6-acre parking lot (third appearance). Janik- Stated the Watry’s requested changes are not consistent with past CUPs. Depies- Added that there were previous signs on the property. Co. Mishefske- Stated that an occupancy permit is required. The shed in question would not meet commercial building code standards to allow for occupancy. Co. Clarke- Questioned the ability to have parking stalls per Town Ordinance? Watry- Stated there is adequate space for parking. Co. Jentges- Will customers walk through? Watry- Appointment-only business Co. Jentges- Not convinced that this location is the best one for this operation Co. Koeppen- Agreed that this business and location does not make sense Chairman Leider- Stated this business operation is “on the fringe” of what is allowed by ordinance Co. Janik- Stated peoples ability to come and go down Airport Road is going to be an issue Co. Mishefske- Explained that converting an AG building to a commercial would be expensive and difficult. Motion to Table by Jentges, 2nd by Koeppen. Approved Unanimously. 7- 1st Appearance of a Consideration of a Property Division at N6625 Clover Valley Rd (Parcel Number #04-010-10-005.00) of a 16.28-acre lot into two lots 5 acres and 11.28, respectively.
