Board of Park Commissioners Minutes | Tuesday, June 23, 2026 Lake Geneva City Hall, Council Chambers Call to Order Meeting was called to order by Adam St. Marie at 6:00 p.m. Roll Call Present: Adam St. Marie, Dana Furlo, Betty Volquardsen, David Quickel, Jessica Pokorny, Peggy Schneider, Alderperson Cindy Yager Staff present: Parks Director David Winger Absent: Craig Lambrecht, (excused), Comments from the Public No comments Presentation regarding the Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation and Lakefront Plan Vandewalle and Edgewater Resources presented early findings from their two site visits regarding the Parks and Lakefront. They described the process and immediate next actions including the focus groups and the community survey while also discussing the long-range planning process that is scheduled to end in February of 2027. Discussion/Recommendation regarding the Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation and Lakefront Plan The Board provided input on the types of projects, programs, and other key plan objectives. Key themes included accessible connectivity to all public areas from various points within the City and early discussions on potential amenities and park beautification, with particular attention to Veterans Park given its role as a destination for athletic programming and tournaments.
