June 18, 2026 Library Finance, Building & Grounds Committee Minutes 1 City Of Lake Geneva Library Finance, Building & Grounds Committee Minutes Thursday, June 18, 2026 - 5:30 PM Lake Geneva Public Library Call to Order Chair Kundert called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Roll Call Kundert, Lyon, Gramm, Hartz (via phone). Also present: Kornak Approval of the previous meeting minutes. Lyon/Gramm motion to approve previous meeting minutes passed unanimously. Finance, Building & Grounds Committee Report Kundert noted that Kornak had shared a preliminary draft of 2027 operating budget. Kornak will confirm current amount in carryforward balance with the City (is it $276,673.50? Has $100,000 from 2026 budget been deducted yet? How much should the library have in carryforward / assigned fund balance)? Review of previous months' invoices Kundert reviewed the May invoices. Gramm/Lyon motion to approve the previous month's invoices in the amount of $124,661.00 passed unanimously. Building & grounds report Kornak noted the following items in progress: 1. Water in basement during rainstorms - will be investigated first by Glen Fern. 2. Patio work outside SMR is on Glen Fern's upcoming schedule. 3. SMR has youth seats pending as well as acoustic panels for the ceiling in progress. 4. Delivery on lower fiction level table and chairs anticipated for around 7/24. 5. Roof maintenance just completed. Kornak to check if DPW can remove any branches on roof. Investments / donations report Kundert noted: 1. Swanson endowment has increased in value to approximately $184K 2. Donation account balance (Bank First) is about $71.5K, and $7K recent donation. 3. Investment Pool #6 has $556,163.95 balance remaining. Adjournment Gramm/Lyon motion to adjourn at 5:49 pm passed unanimously.
