Subject: Re: Mini Storage Unit
Mr Russell,
Thank you for the note. Yes we were hoping to have everything out of the storage locker soon and back in the
basement, but we’re still taking remedial efforts regarding the basement via sump pumps, generator
installation and adding protection to the storm
drain so that the sewage backflow doesn’t happen again before
we move any more items back down to that affected area.
This incident caused by the Village and their contractors created a terrible loss for us and right now, the
storage locker is 80% full of replaced supplies that normally would be in that basement. We also need to
obtain new storage racks, etc. as all those had to be discarded because of the incident.
Other than this accommodation for this storage locker, we received ZERO assistance, support or help from the
Village on this matter. At this point, I’ve had to do all the remediation and work Myself and with my
contractors regarding cleanup and remediation, which is fairly disappointing.
Because of the recent storms, our contractor Badger Basement has been backed up and has told me they
can’t begin the work until mid November.
Although I’m currently on the waitlist to have that work moved up
on the schedule and we are hoping that will all work be completed by year/ end and that the storage locker
could be moved shortly after that.
Happy to have that request added to the agenda and to discuss our needs, but I expect it to only be a short
term as this is an out-of-
pocket expense and we are also waiting on resolution from the Village, their insurance
company, etc., on finalizing.
But asking for a short term extension through your end, I think would be smart, while we finalize remediation
efforts in that basement related to the incident.
Thank you

Mr. Condron,

Village facility issues (buildings/parking lots) fall under the responsibility of the Parks & Lakefront
Committee. Typically, special uses such as the storage unit require P&L Committee approval. We fully
understand that this was an emergency coupled with the fact that the Village had recently relocated to its
new location.
However, If you believe the storage unit needs to remain in place for a longer period, it would be appropriate
to place the request on the October 5th Committee agenda. Let me know if we wish to have the unit added to
the agenda.

Notice of Project Construction and Informational Meeting
October 2, 2026
Dear Residents,
The Village of Williams Bay will be replacing the two sections of failing sanitary sewer as
described below:
Oakwood Street from Center Street south to mid-block and then west
through existing easements to Orchard Street, and
Lift Station 4 gravity sewer along the lakefront from just north of Gage
Marine to Bay Shore Villas.
The Village Board recently awarded the project to Globe Contractors, Inc. for the amount of
$1.7M with the requirement that the project occur in the offseason to minimize impact on
the residents and properties will be started this Fall (likely second half of November) with
the contractor working through the Winter and final restoration in the Spring.
The sanitary sewer is located in Village easements on the properties described above and
your property will be benefiting from this new sanitary sewer and affected by this
construction, including the removal of landscaping, paths, and hardscapes over the top and
around the area of the sewer or sewer laterals.
The Village invites you to an Informational Meeting with the affected Property Owners at the
Village Hall (250 Williams Street) on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 4:00 pm. For those that
are unable to attend the meeting in person, the meeting will be streamed and recorded on
