The Division of Alcohol Beverages recently received and processed your application to be certified as a
qualifying event venue at the following location. This document certifies the applicant as a “qualifying event
venue” under sec. 125.24(5)(b), Wis. Stats.
373 Geneva Street Williams Bay WI 53191
The holder of this certificate may apply for and obtain a "Class B" liquor license in a municipality that would
otherwise be unable to issue one due to their quota of "Class B" liquor licenses. Present this certification to
the municipality where you wish to license your qualifying event venue. Applications must be received by
the municipality no later than August 1, 2026. (sec. 125.51(4)(v)5., Wis. Stats.)
This certification neither entitles the holder to a "Class B" liquor license, nor attests to the applicant's overall
license qualification. Municipalities should follow their normal licensing procedure consistent with state law
and local regulations before issuing any license.
Questions from certificate holders or municipal governments may be directed to the contact information
below.
