Juneau Fire Department 128 E. Cross St Juneau, WI 53039 March 18, 2026 Chief Eddie Weiss called the monthly Juneau Fire Dept meeting to order and roll call was taken. Brian Smedema made a motion to approve the agenda, with Dan Jahnke seconding it, motion carried. Jessy Schuster made a motion to accept the previous meeting minutes, with Dan Jahnke seconding it, motion carried. There was a motion made by Curt Ninmann to accept the treasurer's report, with John Schuster seconding it, motion carried. Public Comment: None Communications: Werner Biederman has set up a RTF Training at Horicon High School April 8th at 18:00. Moraine Park Fire Protection Academy, and FF2 2 week class 6-8-26 - 6-18-26 Monday thru Thursday Training: Auto Extrication / Aerial Operations Fund Raising: Trap Shoot 9/12/2026 Fund Purchase: Nothing to Report Fire Prevention: Nothing to report Preplan & Inspection: Working on follow ups Membership: Deb Quackenboss will be leaving for Deployment at a future date. Maintenance: Breathing compressor is fixed Review Passed calls: We went over the previous month's calls. RRS: 150 Committee: Nothing to report Old Business: nothing to report Lexipol / Fire Rescue One: Independent study program One in person training, and the other one is online. Once the online is completed it is added to your file. ESO: Check lists need to get done weekly, 2391 shows issue, Chief is working on that. New Business: Hose test is on going pending weather watch IAR for events. Fit Test April 15th from 4-8 pm. Truck checks need to be completed along with the scba unit when used. Went over responding to fires/accidents with appropriate apparatus IAR: PLEASE USE IT !!!!
