Minutes Town of Arpin Building Committee Tuesday, January 21, 2025 Meeting Called to Order: 5:30 p.m. Members Attending: Duane Willfahrt, Mike Esser, Andy Remus, Jill Richardson Residents: Jason Richardson, Tyler Grosskreutz Non-Residents: Luke Bravener, Dennis Dederich, Paul Dederich Location: Vesper Fire Department, 6575 Ryland Ave., Vesper 1. Minutes: Motion (Mike Esser/Andy Remus) to accept minutes from November. Carried 4-0. 2. Building Overview: Discussed the process the Municipality of Vesper and the Vesper Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. went through to exchange property, remodel a fire department building into a municipal building and build a new fire department building. Dederich explained how VVFD initially planned to utilize CBDG funding for a new fire department building, the reasons why the grant ended up being denied and how they were ultimately able to fund the building. He also shared insightful tips they learned while managing their own construction process. Discussion on the municipal building included how it was remodeled, how the building is utilized by the community and what is stored in it. Then the committee toured fire department building. 3.
