1 TOWN OF PORT EDWARDS SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES Date: June 24, 2025 Call to Order: Chairman Randy Moody called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Meeting Certification: This meeting has been properly posted (on the Town Hall door) as well as published on the Town website to notify the public of date, place, time, and agenda. Attendance: Chairman Randy Moody, Supervisors Tim Schmidt, Trevor Jensen, Treasurer Kathy Reese, Clerk Tracey Draper. There were also two people present from the public. Agenda: Approve the agenda Motion to convene in closed session under Wis. Stat. 19.85(1),(c) to discuss hiring and compensation issues Reconvene into open session Adjourn Jensen moved to approve the agenda and Schmidt seconded. Motion carried. Closed Session: Jensen made a motion to go into closed session to discuss issues related to hiring and compensation. Schmidt seconded and the motion carried. Reconvene in Open Session: Being no other business to discuss in closed session, Jensen made a motion to reconvene into open session at 6:55 pm. Schmidt seconded the motion and the motion carried. Adjourn: Business had concluded, so Jensen made a motion to adjourn the special meeting at 6:58 pm, and Schmidt seconded. All were in favor and the motion carried.
