was seconded by Schmidt and the motion carried with all in favor. Total disbursements for the
month of December were $47,675.02 with total revenues being $1,348.44.

Treasurer and Clerk Financial Reports: The Treasurer and Clerk reports were reviewed by
the Board. All reports balance. Total Town money as of December 31st, 2024, is $64,141.05.
Schmidt made a motion to accept the reports as delivered. O’Donnell seconded said motion.
Motion carried with a unanimous vote in favor.
Correspondence: Clerk was in receipt of a resignation letter from Attorney Flanagan. He
predicts his last day to be February 14th, 2025. No reason for his resignation was stated in his
letter.
The conditional use permit the clerk was expecting did not arrive.
The Wood County Planning and Zoning department is holding a Zoning Board of Adjustment
and Appeals workshop on February 19th, 2025, from 5p – 8p in the River Block Building. Clerk
will contact the Zoning Board members to determine interest for registration.
Highway Superintendent Report: Superintendent Lueneburg confirmed with the board that
this year was going to be a road maintenance year involving chip sealing. He asked if the
railing was going to be reinstalled on the culvert that was just replaced on South Section
Street. The railing will not be reinstalled because the road over the new culvert is now
supposed to be wide enough to not require one. The new furnace recently installed in the shop
is super quiet and the crew is enjoying that as well as its consistent heat. Lueneburg will take a
look at the ramp up to the community center but reminded the board he is not a carpenter.
New Business:
Mileage Rate: The current mileage reimbursement rate used by the Town is $0.655/mile. The
federal mileage rate for 2025 is set at $0.700/mile. O’Donnell moved to adjust the Town’s
mileage reimbursement rate to $0.700/mile and Schmidt seconded. Motion carried with all in
favor.
Old Business:
WTA Meeting: Everything for the meeting should be in order. Moody requested the clerk
contact the Community Center to confirm the availability of a flag for that evening.
Community Center Approach: See Highway Superintendent report above.
Nuisance Complaint: The update on the property had not arrived in time for tonight’s
meeting.
Public input: There was none.
Next Scheduled Board Meeting: The next regularly scheduled monthly Town Board Meeting
is set for Monday, February 10th, 2025. The meeting will be called to order at 6:00p.m. in the
Port Edwards Town Hall.
Adjourn: Being no other business to conduct, O’Donnell made a motion to adjourn the
meeting at 6:34p.m. and Schmidt seconded. All were in favor and the motion carried.
Respectfully submitted,
Michelle Sorenson, Clerk
