8.18.26 Meeting Minutes - FINAL

8-18-2026 Blenker Sherry Sanitary District Meeting Minutes Meeting was called to order at 6:03 pm by President Donna Stuttgen. Present were Commissioners Donna Stuttgen, Chris Goehring, Jay Stuttgen, Treasurer Terri Grassel, Mike Anderson District employee, and Doug Ledden-Ledden Plumbing. Secretary report read by Jay Stuttgen. Moved to accept by Donna Stuttgen 2nd Chris Goehring. Motion passed. Treasurers report was received. Additions to the agenda: Permit for lateral repairs. OIC Business Bench testing has been completed. Recommendation for chemical induction of Aqua Hawk 15147 for phosphorus upgrade. Trial will begin within a month. AgSource reports are being delayed by 2 ½ months due to glitch in their computer system. New D.O. sensor is needed. IFT Business Shed is been placed for the Chemical Induction equipment. One more valve has been added to replacement list as it has broken when trying to use it. 2 valves on County F will be replaced when road is closed. Will contact Solutionz LLC to repair blacktop after valve replacement. Old Business Loans/grants: CWFL need to put initial application in by October. A bond is needed for the loan and will cost about $12,000. If qualify for grant with this it would be about a 25% forgiveness, but grant not guaranteed. Moved to do initial application by Chris Goehring 2nd Donna Stuttgen. Motion passed. Internet- Getting a debit/credit card for payment. Moved to acquire a debit card from Valley Communities Credit Union by Chris Goehring 2nd by Jay Stuttgen. Motion passed. Flaggers- There are 2 people certified for traffic flaggers if needed for work on county roads. District will try to recruit more people for flagging certification. New Business District letter to be developed for update to send to district users this fall. Sewer repair permit to be developed so district knows when repairs are being done. Moved to pay bills by Chris Goehring 2nd by Jay Stuttgen. Motion passed. Next meeting to be September 22, 2026 at 6pm. Move to adjourn by Donna Stuttgen 2nd Jay Stuttgen. Motion passed.
