Town of Sherry Regular Board of Supervisors Monthly Meeting Minutes October 8, 2024 The regular Board monthly meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Chairman Lang, Supervisor Bean, Supervisor Holtz, Clerk Lobner and Treasurer Haas present. Additions to the Agenda: None. The minutes from the September 10, 2024, Town Board of Supervisors meeting minutes approved by a motion by Supervisor Bean, second by Supervisor Holtz. Motion carried. The Treasurer’s Report approved by a motion by Supervisor Bean, second by Supervisor Holtz. Motion carried. Pay Bills: a motion by Supervisor Holtz, second by Supervisor Bean to pay all bills. Continue to hold the check for the City of Marshfield unpaid 2021 ambulance call. Motion carried. Transfer Funds from Tax Savings to Checking: None. Process Development - Administrative Charge Billing of Delinquent Sanitary Charges: review of current list of six resident delinquent charges from Sanitary District. District sends delinquent Notice to resident and to the Town of amount due on Oct 1. Payment is due by Nov 1. If not paid 10% will be added if not paid by Nov 15. The charges, interest and special charges become a lien upon the parcel or estate. Copy of SS66.0809 mailed to District. Town will follow-up on parcels with delinquent charges on November 15 and forward to County Treasurers Office for charges to be added as a lien of parcel. No further action of Town needed until November 15. City of Marshfield 2021 Unpaid Ambulance Invoice An invoice was sent to the estate of the deceased in September. No payment received from estate to reimburse the Town of Sherry for the City of Marshfield unpaid 2021 ambulance call. Dog at Large Forfeiture Invoices: LK paid, VK unpaid. City of Marshfield Ambulance Contract: a motion by Supervisor Holtz, second by Supervisor Bean to approve the ambulance contract for $________ . Motion carried. Budget Planning Meetings: Preliminary budget planning meeting on October 16, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. Roads / Bridges and Road Maintenance • Paradise Road done except gravel will be placed near home driveways • TDS - InterCon representative contacted to address work on Paradise Road • Swedish Road gravel done • Town Shed gravel is needed • Patching and crack filling completed Fairview Cemetery Update: No updates to report. Recycling Center Update: a review of invoice 2024-13 authorized invoice to be mailed to Town of Milladore. Invoice 2024-12 remains unpaid. The ‘Weekly Vehicle Tally and Sign-in’ sheet data collection continues and will be reviewed in the future. All open staffing shifts are filled for October. Incident Form updated and copies in place. DNR Grant submitted on September 30. Fire Inspection of Recycle Center completed on September 27, 2024, with no violations. Report on file. Land Use Coordination Plan Update: Committee continues to meet with additional Section drafts reviewed. Board members request final Sections, not drafts. Next meeting on October 9 meeting is designated for review by the participants. No face-to-face meeting. Next meeting: Wed October 30, 2024, 6:00 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend and provide input. Public Input and/or Comment: Resident reports safety concern of ongoing water filled ditch issue reported near 3914 and 3918 Main Street. Culvert issue will be addressed in Spring with resident.
