Town of Sherry Special Board of Supervisors Meeting Minutes May 1, 2023 The Special Board of Supervisors meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Lang with Supervisor Bean, Supervisor Holtz, and Clerk Lobner present. This meeting was posted April 25, 2023. Meeting purpose to review and prepare details, and specifications for Town road bids and to prepare details for town garage bids to be published. A motion from Supervisor Holtz, second by Supervisor Bean for Clerk Lobner to prepare the following two bid notices for publication: #1 ROADS: The Town of Sherry will accept sealed bids until 7:00 pm (CDT) on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, in the Town of Sherry Hall, when bids will be opened. The Town Hall is located at 9285 Second St., Milladore, WI 54454. Submitted bids by mail may be sent to Chairman George Lang, 9285 2nd Street, Milladore, WI 54454. • State Spec ½” road base by the ton to be delivered (5,000 tons + or -), leveled and shaped with grader on site anywhere in the Town of Sherry with 4,000 tons placed by July 31, 2023 • Shellrock by the cubic yard to be delivered (2,000 cu yards + or -), leveled and compacted to 9336 County Road F by July 1, 2023; stripping of site to be included • Ditch mowing and brush cutting all Town roads consisting of 1st cutting of 2 passes by July 1st, and 2nd cutting of 4 passes by October 1st • Thermal asphalt patching anywhere in the Town of Sherry • Crack filling all paved roads • Dustproofing - 3 loads #2 STORAGE SHED: Clerk Lobner will draft a notice and develop a Project Manual for the storage shed at 9336 County Road F per the following: • Bids are for the proposed 40’x50’ storage shed. • Lump sum bids will be accepted as follows: General Contract – including General Construction, Electrical, and HVAC. Schedule Future Meetings, as required: Sealed Bid Opening on Wednesday May 31, 2023 7:00 p.m. at the Sherry Town Hall. Future Agenda Items: None. Adjournment: There was a motion to adjourn by Supervisor Holtz, second by Supervisor Bean. Motion carried.
