o Tonight’s annual meeting represents the 137th annual meeting for the Town of Sherry. There have
been new historical documents placed on the bulletin board.
o "The Town of Sherry, Wisconsin" was published in Feb 2023.
o The "History of Pershing Graded School, Sherry, Wisconsin" was published in 2022.
o Copies for viewing are available at Sheri-land/Good Times or contact Bev Peaslee.
o Additional historical publications are in process by residents.
• Bev Peaslee requested ditch cleaning near 3641 Lobner Rd.
• Sandra Lobner requesting consideration of the Town Board to update the Sherry Town Hall (built approx
1980) e.g. replacing the ceiling tiles, painting the town hall as last painted in 2010), four additional chairs. r),
additional nesting banquet tables to replace those broken and possibly town hall flooring. Costs will be
brought back to a regular town board meeting. Ms. Lobner recommended that updates occur over a period
of years e.g. one to two projects each year, not necessarily all at once.
• Christian Russo expressed concern at the intersect of Swedish Road and his driveway at 7315 Swedish Road.
Mr. Russo feels the concrete cracking damage occurred because of town equipment turning around in his
driveway. Members of the Board feel his rusted and collapsed culvert contributed to the damage of the
concrete, not equipment.
• Peggy Richardson expressed extreme frustration with the ongoing poor condition of Paradise Road.
