Dave Homb called the 2023 Budget Hearing to order at 6:35 p.m. Attendance: Jeff Bean, Dick Becker, Dan DeBoer, Linda Haas, Les Holtz, Dave Homb, George Lang, Sandra Lobner, Bob Oertel. a. Motion to enter into Special Budget Hearing i. Motion By: Jeff Bean ii. Second by: Les Holtz iii. Carried: yeas 9 nays 0 b. Proposed Budget for 2023 was handed out to the public. Budget categories and percent changes over 2022 were presented and discussed. c. Motion to Adjourn the 2023 Budget Hearing Motion By: Les Holtz Second by: Jeff Bean Carried: yeas 9 nays 0 Dave Homb called the Special Meeting of the Electors to order at 6:45 p.m. a. Approve compensation for elected town officials for the next term of office as follows: Chairman - $50 per diem, unchanged. Board of Supervisors - $45 per diem, unchanged. Clerk - $800 per month; plus compensation for non-regular meetings at the rate set for town officers. The Clerk position is designated as part-time. Unchanged. Treasurer - $500 per month; plus compensation for non-regular meetings at the rate set for town officers. The Treasurer position is designated as part-time. Current rate $400 per month, unchanged in over 10 years. Motion to approve: Les Holtz Second by: George Lang Carried yeas 9 nays 0 b. Authorize the Town Board to hire the Town Officers as employees of the town and set the wages at $16.00 per hour for labor. Motion to approve: Bob Oertel Second: George Lang Carried yeas 9 nays 0 c.
