Any issue not requiring immediate action may be placed on next month’s agenda The regular Meeting of the Cary Town Board was held on February 13, 2023 at 6:00 PM at the Cary Town Hall. The meeting was called to order by acting Chairman Dennis Brunner, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited, and a prayer was given. Present were Acting Chairman Dennis Brunner, Supervisor Dale Zawislan, Treasurer Carey Rucker, Clerk Jean Gansch, and Deputy Clerk Lori Hiebl. Also present was Rural Insurance Agent Ian Pierce. Rural Insurance Annual ReviewLevels of coverage were discussed, Items that are covered or not under “Blanket” Personal Property, Change the name of the covered Voting machine—need to clarify the replacement cost of this new machine with County Clerk. Volunteer worker is not covered under our Workman’s Comp. portion of the policy and we should not allow him to volunteer his time. Added tools to personal property “Blanket” (not itemized). Minutes of January 10th Meeting were read. Motion to accept with corrections was made by Dale Zawislan and seconded by Dennis Brunner, motion passed.Treasurer gave a report, Motion to table filing of Treasurer’s Report until next meeting was made by Dale Zawislan and Seconded by Dennis Brunner, motion passed. Treasurer will revise report and present at next meeting. Clerk’s Information: Read a brief report from Jerry Wagner about his assessor duties progress for the year. The board discussed the duties of the clerk, deputy clerk, and treasurer. Carey Rucker shared a couple listings that she got from other townships. The review of Treasurer’s duties, and Clerk’s duties were tabled until next month.Road Report: Carey shared that Messing Ln. was very slippery due to the multiple thaws and freezes in the past couple of weeks.Supervisors will attend two WTA meetings yet this month.
