2019 for 2020 Notice of Public Budget Hearing for Town of Cary Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday November 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cary Town Hall a PUBLIC HEARING on the proposed budget for the Town of Cary, Wood County will be held. The Town Board is asking to increase the tax levy of $107,567 by 24% to equal $132,862 to be a continuing rate. The proposed budget in details is available for inspection at the Clerk’s home. The Special Town Meeting of the electors is called pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1)(b) of the WI Statutes by the Town Board for the following purpose: 1. The electors during the meeting must adopt a resolution by majority vote endorsing the town board’s resolution. 2. The electors have to vote to adopt the total tax levy for 2019 to be collected in 2020.
