Town of Richfield 8478 Richfield Drive Marshfield, WI 54449 Monthly Board Minutes January 10, 2022 Call to Order Dave Steinmetz called the meeting to order at 6:30PM Pledge of Allegiance Roll call The following persons were present: , Dave Steinmetz (Chairperson), Chris McDaniel (Supervisor #1), Jack Pernsteiner (Supervisor #2), Josh Sabo (Fire Chief), Sue Weister (Clerk) Minutes from December 13, 2021 Monthly Board Meeting Jack made a motion to approve the December 13, 2021 board meeting minutes. Dave made the 2nd the motion. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report Jack Pernsteiner motion to approve the December Treasurer Report. Dave 2nd the motion. Motion carried. Fire Chief’s report Fire calls = 3 First Responder’s report Calls = 1 Road Maintenance Discussed Snow Plowing Discussed the salt and sand mixture try to reduce the size of sand clumps. Looking for person to help with road snow removal. Building Maintenance Building maintenance put aside until spring Boarder roadway agreements Discussed Fire numbers on state and county roads Need more discussion Cemetery Update Discussed deeds for cemetery lots ARPA funds update Waiting for more ideas from the government, funds will stay in a separate account. 941 IRS Update Discussed Animal at Large ,MAPS Still reviewing the ideas from other townships and policies Lawyer update discussed Wis LR Maps and LRIP Application Discussed Chris is looking into the LRIP application Property Tax special garbage charge Per vote in the township it was voted to charge for garbage pick up to any dwelling that is live able. Invoicing – was discussed. Items for future meetings – Accounts Payable Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve the bills. Jack Pernsteiner 2nd the motion. Motion carried.
