Town of Richfield 8478 Richfield Drive Marshfield, WI 54449 Monthly Board Minutes November 8, 2021 Call to Order Dave Steinmetz called the meeting to order at 7:15pm. Pledge of Allegiance Roll call The following persons were present: Tammi Pernsteiner (Treasurer & Interim Clerk), Dave Steinmetz (Chairperson), Chris McDaniel (Supervisor #1), Jack Pernsteiner (Supervisor #2), Josh Sabo (Fire Chief), Keith Albright (Resident), Sue Weister (Clerk) Approval of the 2022 budget Jack Pernsteiner made a motion to approve the 2022 budget Chris Mc Daniel 2nd the motion Motion carried Minutes from October 11 , 2021 Monthly Board Meeting Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve the November monthly board meeting minutes. Jack Pernsteiner 2nd the motion. Motion carried. Minutes from October 13 , 2021 Monthly Board Meeting Jack Pernsteiner made a motion to approve Chris Mc Daniel 2nd the motion Motion carried Treasurer’s Report Jack Pernsteiner made a motion to approve the September Treasurer Report. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. Motion carried. Fire Chief’s report Fire calls = 7 First Responder’s report Calls = 6 Road Maintenance Chris to review road maps culvert fixed and repaired on Wood/Richfield Check culvert on Heggland Rd and on Thompson Rd Cemetery Update Nothing to report currently Building Maintenance Discussed posting signs to alert personal to turn lights off before leaving ARPA funds update Discussed The funds will stay in our General account for the time being. It will be separated out on the Treasurer’s report. Sue will forward all emails related to ARPA as she receives them to Tammi. 941 IRS Update Discussed Animal at large ,MAPS No calls since last meeting Chris will look into creating a ordinance Insurance for fire dept and town Discussed- Bethal Up date cross walks In lieu of a painted crossed walk signs will be installed Pedestrian Crossing Lawyer up date jc Discussed Hunting on townships 40 Discussed Snow plowing Discussed Wis- Lr MAPS Discussed Culverts Discussed Forest crop land/bill Discussed Roadway agreements boarding Discussed Tax collection letters Approved Tax collection bond Chris McDaniel made a motion tp approve a Tax Collection Bond in the amount of the Townships tax apportionment from Wood County Jack Pernsteiner 2nd the motion Motion carried Tax collection sites Chris McDaniel made a motion to provide two options for the Tax Payments Mail to Treasure or pay at Partners Bank in Marshfield. Jack Pernsteiner 2nd the motion The motion was carried Invoicing – was discussed. Items for future meetings – Driveway appplication Accounts Payable Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve/pay monthly bills. Jack Pernsteiner 2nd the motion. Motion carried.
