Town of Richfield, Wood County Monthly Board Meeting | April 12, 2021 1. Jim Good called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. The following persons were present: Tirzah Draeger (Clerk), Tammi Pernsteiner (Treasurer), Jim Good (Chairman), Dave Steinmetz (Supervisor #1) Chris McDaniel (Supervisor #2), Josh Sabo (Fire Chief), Keith Albright (Hwy Department), Jack Pernsteiner (resident), Josh Klumm (resident), and Pete Winistorfer (Town of Rock, Chairman). 4. Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve March 8, 2021 Budget Hearing minutes as printed. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 5. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to approve the March 8, 2021 Public Board meeting minutes as printed. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 6. Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report as printed. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 7. Fire Chief’s Report. 2 calls in February. 6 calls in March. 8. First Responders Report. 1 call in February. 2 calls in March. 9. Chris McDaniel made a motion to allow the Wood County 4-H to collect DNA from Hogs and Sheep, set for May 29th 9am-noon. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 10. Road Maintenance a. Klondike intersection with Arpin/Richfield was discussed. 11. Building Maintenance a. Security Cameras were discussed. b. Doors were discussed. c. Jim Good made a motion to have the Window on the south/west side of the building fixed. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. d. Cargo Box was discussed. 12. Annual Meeting was discussed. 13. Tire Day was discussed. 14. Bids Dave Steinmetz made a motion to approve the following bids to be published. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. - Bids to be mailed to the Richfield Town Hall (8478 Richfield Drive, Marshfield, WI 54449) and will be opened at the Regular Monthly Meeting, May 10, 2021, 7pm at the Richfield Town Hall (8478 Richfield Drive, Marshfield, WI 54499). Proof of insurance is to be included with all bids. The board has the right to accept or reject any and or all bids. Residence request delivery will correspond with township delivery. - Roadside mowing - approximately 40 miles. 1 swath early July and a complete mowing of 3 swaths in late August. - Decomposed granite – 1,000 yards more or less to be delivered anywhere in the township. The price is to be the same for residents. Bidding is to be by the yard. - Underlayment crushed aggregate base course to state spec. Bid 3/4 inch and 1 1/4 inch to be delivered anywhere in the township and the price to be the same for residents. Bidding is to be by the ton. - Dust Proofing - 1/2 load more or less to be delivered anywhere in the township. Bidding is to be by the gallon. - Blacktopping - 1/2 mile more or less. Items intended for future meeting were discussed. 19. Chris McDaniel made a motion to Approve/Pay monthly bills. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 20. Oaths of Office were made. 21.
