Monthly Meeting February 8 2021

Town of Richfield, Wood County Monthly Board Meeting | February 8, 2021 1. Jim Good called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. The following persons were present: Tirzah Draeger (Clerk), Tammi Pernsteiner (Treasurer), Jim Good (Chairman), Dave Steinmetz (Supervisor #1) Chris McDaniel (Supervisor #2), Josh Sabo (Fire Chief), & Keith Albright (Hwy Department). 4. Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve January 14, 2021 Public Board meeting minutes as amended. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 5. Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report as printed. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 6. Fire Chief’s Report. 3 calls. 7. First Responders Report. 3 calls. 8. Rural Fire Association was discussed. 9. Rural Insurance policy was discussed. 10. Grader was discussed. 11. Road Maintenance a. Bridge on Richfield Drive was discussed. b. Bridge on Lincoln (over the Yellow River) was discussed. c. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to raise the Primary HWY driver be paid $20 an hour and the Secondary HWY driver be paid $17.00 an hour going into effect February 1, 2021. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 12. Building Maintenance was discussed. 13. Chris McDaniel made a motion to set the Open Book for Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and Board of Review for Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 14. Invoicing was discussed. 15. Items intended for future meeting were discussed. 16. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to Approve/Pay monthly bills. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 17. Chris McDaniel made a motion carry over $20,000 of the 2020 Budget funds and use it for the Fire Department Rescue Truck in 2021 and to carry over $84,584.12 of the 2020 Budget funds and use it for Road Paving in 2021. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. Motion passed. 18. Chris McDaniel made a motion to hold a Budget Hearing on Monday, March 8th at 7pm at the Richfield Town Hall. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion.
