Monthly Meeting November 9 2020

Town of Richfield, Wood County Monthly Board Meeting | November 9, 2020 1. Jim Good called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm. 2. The following persons were present: Tirzah Draeger (Clerk), Tammi Pernsteiner (Treasurer), Jim Good (Chairman), Chris McDaniel (Supervisor #2), & Josh Sabo (Fire Chief). 3. Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve the October 12, 2020 Public Board meeting minutes as adjusted. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 4. Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve the November 4, 2020 Public Board meeting minutes as printed. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 5. Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report as printed. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 6. Fire Chief’s Report. 5 calls. 7. First Responders Report. 1 call. 8. Marshfield Rural Fire Association Agreement – updated agreement was discussed. 9. Billing between Marshfield Rural Fire Association agencies – updated process was discussed. 10. Sale of old fire dept equipment – Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve the sale of old fire department equipment on the WI Surplus website. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 11. Sale of truck box and toolboxes – Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve the sale of the truck box and three toolboxes on the WI Surplus website with a set reserve to be determined by the fire department. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 12. Tax Collection Bond – Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve a Tax Collection Bond in the amount of the Townships tax apportionment from Wood County. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 13. Tax Collection Sites – Chris McDaniel made a motion to provide one option for Tax Payments - Mail tax payment to Treasurer. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 14. Broadband Grant Letter – Chris McDaniel made a motion to send a letter in support of the Southwest Wood County/Pittsville School District Broadband Expansion Project FY2021. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 15. Road Maintenance a. Road ratings were discussed. b. Roads were discussed. 16. Building Maintenance a. Security Lights were discussed. b. Ceiling Lights were discussed. c. Chris McDaniel made a motion to leave the new paint and windowsills choices to the discretion of the Town Clerk and Treasurer. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 17. Job Description for Clerk was discussed. 18. Deputy Clerk – Chris McDaniel made a motion to appoint Tammi Pernsteiner as the Town’s temporary Deputy Clerk. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 19. Invoicing was discussed. 20. Items intended for future meeting were discussed. 21. Accounts Payable: Chris McDaniel made a motion to Approve/Pay monthly bills. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 22. Chris McDaniel made a motion to adjourn. Jim Good 2nd the motion.
