Monthly Meeting April 13 2020

Town of Richfield, Wood County Monthly Board Meeting April 13, 2020 1. Jim Good called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. The following persons were present: Tirzah Draeger (Clerk), Tammi Pernsteiner (Treasurer), Jim Good (Chairman), Dave Steinmetz (Supervisor #1), Chris McDaniel (Supervisor #2), Josh Sabo (Fire Chief), & Keith Albright (Resident). 4. Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve the March 11, 2020 Public Board meeting minutes after amended. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 5. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report as printed. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 6. Bids Dave Steinmetz made a motion to approve the following bids to be published. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. - Bids will be opened at the Regular Monthly Meeting, May 11, 2019, 7pm at the Richfield Town Hall (8478 Richfield Drive, Marshfield, WI 54499). Proof of insurance is to be included with all bids. The board has the right to accept or reject any and or all bids. Residence request delivery will correspond with township delivery. - Roadside mowing - approximately 40 miles. 1 swath early July and a complete mowing of 3 swaths in late August. - Decomposed granite – 1,000 yards more or less to be delivered anywhere in the township. The price is to be the same for residents. Bidding is to be by the yard. - Underlayment crushed aggregate base course to state spec. Bid 3/4 inch and 1 1/4 inch to be delivered anywhere in the township and the price to be the same for residents. Bidding is to be by the ton. - Dust Proofing - 1/2 load more or less to be delivered anywhere in the township. Bidding is to be by the gallon. - Blacktopping - 1/2 mile more or less. Road Maintenance – Road Review was discussed. 50/50 road aid was discussed. 8. Building Maintenance – Exit lights were discussed. 9. Annual Meeting – The Town’s Association has recommended that we open the Annual Meeting, on the scheduled date (Tuesday, April 13, 2020 at 7pm), have a resident postpone the meeting 30 days out (Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 7pm) and close the meeting. Tirzah will post the details for residents. 10. Items intended for future meetings: 11. Accounts Payable: Chris McDaniel made a motion to Approve/Pay monthly bills. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion.
