Monthly Meeting January 13 2020

Town of Richfield, Wood County Monthly Board Meeting January 13, 2020 1. Jim Good called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. The following persons were present: Tirzah Draeger (Clerk), Tammi Pernsteiner (Treasurer), Jim Good (Chairman), Dave Steinmetz (Supervisor #1), Josh Sabo (Resident/Fire Chief), Sandi Schill (Custodian), Tyler Schill (Resident), Dan Scheunemann (Resident), Jennifer Howen (Insurance), & Keith Albright (Resident). 4. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to approve the December 9, 2019 Public Board meeting minutes as printed. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 5. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report as printed. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 6. Jennifer from Rural Insurance went over our policies. 7. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to move to closed session to conduct a review with Custodian. Jim Good 2nd the motion. 8. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to move to open session. Jim Good 2nd the motion. 9. Fire Chief’s report: 7 calls. 10. First Responder’s report: none in December. 11. Our annual audit meeting will be an agenda item for the February 10, 2020 Monthly Board meeting. 12. Setting the dates for Open Book and Board of Review were moved the February meeting. 13. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to send a certified letter to specific residents concerning a proposed ordinance. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 14. Ambulance contract with city of Marshfield was signed. 15. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to sign a Service Agreement with the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter for 2020. Jim 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 16. Property Survey Map for Dennis Schmidt was approved. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to authorize the Town Chairman to approve or not approve Survey Maps. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 17. Road Maintenance was discussed. 18. Building Maintenance. a. Loft in Hwy department is completed. 19. Snowplowing for the Town of Wood was discussed. 20. Snowplowing for the Town of Arpin was discussed. 21. Items intended for future meetings were added to January’s agenda. 22. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to Approve/Pay monthly bills. Jim Good 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 23. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to adjourn. Jim Good 2nd the motion.
