Annual Meeting Minutes from April 17, 2018

Town of Richfield, Wood County, 2017 Annual Meeting, 4/17/2018 Chairperson Jim Good called the meeting to order at 8:04pm. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Attendance: Tirzah Draeger (clerk), Chris McDaniel (supervisor #2), Kevin Schill (resident), Jim Good (chairman), Josh Sabo (fire chief), Tammi Pernsteiner (treasurer), Don Fox (resident), Keith Albright (resident), Kathy Steffen (resident), Shirley Heeg (Resident), Deanna Klumb (resident), Josh Klumb (resident), Darwin Kasner (resident), Jerry Taylor (resident), Larry Klumb (resident), Keith Heeg (resident), and Aaron Heeg (resident). Josh Klumb made a motion to approve the minutes from last year’s Annual Meeting as read. Kevin Schill second the motion. The motion carried Presentation of Annual Report. Larry Klumb made a motion to approve the Presentation of the Annual Report. Aaron Heeg 2nd the motion. The motion carried. Keith Albright made a motion to retain Partners Bank. Keith Heeg 2nd the motion. The motion carried. Josh Sabo made a motion to Designate Marshfield News Herald as Newspaper of Publication. Jerry Taylor 2nd the motion. The motion carried. Keith Albright made a motion to dispense with reading of Noxious Weeds. Kevin Schill 2nd the motion. The motion carried. Fire Department Report. Total of 20 member. All are Fire Department and 11 are First Responders. Total calls 66 – 9 in Richfield 33 calls – 24 mutual aid calls to other departments. Fire Fighter of the Year award goes to Josh Klumb. First Responder Report Ambulance Calls. First Responders Calls – 33 & Calls to Bethel Center - 117 Keith Albright made a motion to Dust Proof at the Board’s discretion. Don Fox 2nd the motion. The motion carried. Jim Good gave the Road Report. Culverts on Klondike are in need of replacing. Assessor Report. Andy Cegielski is looking to retire. He has recommended a few assessors to interview. Town Hall Rent. Shirley Heeg made a motion to keep the Town Hall rent at $150.00 for residents and $200.00 for non-residents. Keith Heeg 2nd the motion. The motion carried. Don Fox made a motion to use 50/50 Road Aid. Kathy Steffen2nd the motion. The motion carried. Cemetery - New price of plots are $250.00. Intersection Visibility was discussed. Shirley Heeg made a motion have our 2019 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 7pm. Kathy Steffen 2nd the motion. The motion carried.
