Town of Richfield 8478 Richfield Drive Marshfield, WI 54449 Special Board Meeting Minutes April 30, 2025 Josh Sabo called the meeting to order at 8:01pm Roll call The following people were present: Josh Sabo (Chairperson), Bob Tomkowiak (Supervisor #1), Christopher Christiansen (Supervisor #2), Paula Rustad (Clerk), Dave Steinmetz, Chris McDaniel, Andrew Woltmann Lawn Mowing We did not receive a new quote from Beaver Creek Nursery for lawn mowing of town hall & cemetery so Josh and Bob both received quotes from two other companies for lawn mowing. Paula did get an email from Beaver Creek Nursery asking if we would like them to continue the town’s lawn mowing so Paula will reach out to get a quote for 2025. They have mowed once since that email so this will be added to our May monthly meeting for further discussion. Move to closed session pursuant to Wis Stats Sec.19.85(1)(g) to discuss matters of the Town’s legal business. Bob Tomkowiak made a motion to move into closed session pursuant to Wis Stats 19.85(1)(g) to discuss matters of the Town’s legal business. Christopher Christiansen 2nd motion. Motion carried. Prior board members were invited to stay during this closed session and did stay to help bring the new board up to date on the current situation & to inform them that all correspondence needs to be done through the lawyer. Further discussion was had. Move to reconvene back into an open session. Bob Tomkowiak made a motion to reconvene back into an open session. Christopher Christiansen 2nd motion. Motion carried.
