Town of Richfield 8478 Richfield Drive Marshfield, WI 54449 Special Board Meeting Minutes July 11, 2024 Dave Steinmetz called the meeting to order at 8:45pm Pledge of Allegiance Roll call The following persons were present: Dave Steinmetz (Chairperson), Chris McDaniel (Supervisor #1), Andrew Woltmann (Supervisor #2), Paula Rustad (Clerk) Zoning Concerns from residents at the previous board meeting were discussed. All towns fall under county zoning if they do not have local zoning. We cannot have a nonbinding referendum as we originally thought due to recent changes in Act 12 so Chris will reach out to Trent at the county to get more information on what we can do. The town board will take it from there to make a decision best for our township. Move to closed session pursuant to Wis Stats Sec.19.85(1)(f) to discuss an Unemployment Insurance discrepancy filed by former employee. Andrew Woltmann made a motion to move to a closed session, pursuant to Wis Stats Sec.19.85(1)(f) to discuss an Unemployment Insurance discrepancy filed by a former employee. Chris McDaniel 2nd motion. Motion carried. A decision was made to respond to the notice the town received. Reconvene to open session. Chris McDaniel made a motion to reconvene back into an open session. Andrew Woltmann 2nd motion. Motion carried. Move to closed session pursuant to Wis Stats Sec.19.85(1)(g) to discuss matters of the Town’s legal business.
