Town of Richfield 8478 Richfield Drive Marshfield, WI 54449 Special Board Meeting Minutes February 26, 2024 Dave Steinmetz called the meeting to order at 6:31 pm Pledge of Allegiance Roll call The following persons were present: Dave Steinmetz (Chairperson), Chris McDaniel (Supervisor #1), Andrew Woltman (Supervisor #2), Paula Rustad (Clerk), Tammi Pernsteiner (Treasurer) Move to closed session, pursuant to Wis Stats Sec.19.85(1)(c), Considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, to review applicants for potential Town Treasurer. Chris McDaniel made a motion to move into closed session. Andrew Woltmann 2nd motion. Motion carried. Move to reconvene back into an open session & possibly act on employing a Town Treasurer. Chris McDaniel made a motion to reconvene back into an open session. Andrew Woltmann 2nd motion. Motion carried. Move to closed session pursuant to WIs Stats 19.85(1)(g) to confer with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. Andrew Woltmann made a motion to move into closed session. Chris McDaniel 2nd motion. Motion carried. Move to reconvene back into an open session.
