Minutes: (Jack Esser/Dan Mrotek) to approve the Village of Arpin Regular Board Meeting Minutes from May 13, 2026. Carried 3-0. 3. Financials: MOTION (Dan Mrotek/Michelle Bohman) to approve Village of Arpin Financial Statement from May 2026. Carried 3-0. 4. Clerk/Treasurer Report: Discussed multi-family residential on parcel 3200144; variances would need to be given and Village zoning would need to change for this to be an acceptable building lot. Ordinance #10, wording in Section 2 was discussed. MOTION (Dan Mrotek/Michelle Bohman) to change Ordinance #10, Section 2, to require 15 continuous acres of property within the Village limits for hunting with shotguns and muzzleloaders, exempting archery from the continuous acreage requirement. Carried 2-1. 5. Fire Department Update: There were 10 calls this month: 2 Fire and 8 EMS. The total calls for 2026 are now 79. 6. Public Works: No sidewalk quotes were received; will look into grinding the sidewalk. Reviewed road work, municipal building parking lot and drainage estimates. MOTION (Jack Esser/Dan Mrotek) to hire Becker Trucking to remove the municipal building asphalt, concrete sidewalks and decorative rock and replace with ¾” road base and to reshape the grade on the north side of the municipal building to allow for proper drainage. Carried 3-0. 7. Post Office: Reviewed estimates for parking lot blacktopping. 8. KKP Maintenance: Tree trimming will need to be completed within the park; contractors will be asked to review their estimates to narrow the scope of the project. 9. Ordinance Violations: none. 10. Permits/Licenses: Building Zoning permit for South Elm: 3200095B was discussed; will add to July agenda. MOTION (Dan Mrotek/Michelle Bohman) to approve Bow Hunting Permit for 8079 STH 186. Carried 2-1. MOTION (Michelle Bohman/Jack Esser) to approve Hunting Permit: shotgun, archery and muzzleloader, for 8045 STH 186. Carried 2-0, 1 abstain. MOTION (Jack Esser/Dan Mrotek) to approve Zoning/Building permit for TDS fiber lines. Carried 3-0. MOTION: (Jack Esser/Dan Mrotek) to approve the Class B Liquor license for Dupe’s Bar, LLC. Carried 3-0. MOTION: (Jack Esser/Dan Mrotek) to approve the Class B Liquor license for Pair-of-Dice. Carried 3-0.
