Minutes Village of Arpin Thursday, July 31, 2025 These notes are not minutes of this meeting until accepted and approved at their next regularly scheduled meeting. Meeting Called to Order: 7:00 p.m. Village Board: President: Jack Esser Trustees: Dan Mrotek, Libby Block, Tim Esser, Kevin Albrecht Staff: Jill Richardson This Special Meeting was requested by two board members on behalf of: Arpin Advancement, Dupe’s Bar and Larry’s Lawn and Landscape, to grant a variance to Village Ordinance #26 Regulating Nuisances with the Village of Arpin, to the above-mentioned entities during the Truck and Tractor Pulls August 2 – August 3, 2025. 1. Granting of Variances: MOTION: (Jack Esser/Libby Block) to issue a noise variance to Dupe’s Bar on Saturday, August 2, 2025, until mid-night, on Main Street. Carried 5-0. MOTION: (Jack Esser/Libby Block) to issue a noise variance for Arpin Advancement for the truck and tractor pulls for August 2 – August 3, 2025. Carried 5-0. MOTION: (Dan Mrotek/Jack Esser) to close Church Road, for safety reasons, from Main Street to Mill Road. Carried 5-0. MOTION: (Libby Block/Dan Mrotek) that the east end of Wisconsin Street can be altered, with security measures, such as a gate, once the post is removed or post replacement, after the truck pulls, that is secure, if the land that the posts are originally on are not on Village property. If on Village property (this motion) will be re-reviewed. Carried 5-0. Board discussed how the special meeting fee will be paid. Determined that each of the parties involved will be invoiced for 1/3 of the cost. MOTION: (Jack Esser/Dan Mrotek) 1/3 of the special meeting fee will be charge to Arpin Advancement, Dupe’s Bar and Larry’s Lawn and Landscape. Carried 5-0. 2.
