Monthly Board Meeting — Minutes

Seneca Town Hall 3540 County Highway Q Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495 Regular Monthly Board Meeting] (Minutes are not official until the Board approves them) March 4, 2026 The Town of Seneca Board met for a regular meeting on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the town hall. Tom Wolf called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m, opening with the Pledge of Allegiance. In attendance were Dave Carolfi, Tom Wolf, Greg Stashek, Sheila Grosskreutz, and Jackie Kitowski. Dave Carolfi made a motion to accept the minutes from the February 4, 2026 regular monthly Board Meeting. Tom Wolf seconded the motion. Motion carried. Dave Carolfi made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report for August and pay the bills brought before the board. Tom Wolf seconded the motion. Motion carried Correspondance 1. The Department of Natural Resources sent a letter about new ownership of land and the decision to allow it to remain in Managed Forest Land. 2. Wood County Emergency Management sent an email asking if there were any objections to sounding the warning sirens daily at noon to test that they are in working order. 3. American Asphalt sent the town a Certificate of Liability Insurance to the Town of Seneca. This form states that they do carry insurance. 4. Wood County Planner sent an email about a free webinar series highlighting recent research projects from the Center for Land Use Education. 5. Wisconsin Towns Association Wood County Unit sent the minutes from the February meeting. Public Input- 1. Septic Tanks need to be pumped. The Road Patrolman will call tomorrow. Chairman and Clerk attended a meeting to finalize the agreement with WM-Cranberry Creek Landfill- Agreement was finalized. Spring Election scheduled for April 7, 2026 from 7 am to 8 pm- E-recycling Day scheduled for April 11, 2026 from 9 am to 1 pm- Annual Meeting scheduled for April 14, 2026 at 7 pm- Road Work- Road Patrolmen will start filling potholes as needed. 1. A Constituent wants to run gas down Martin Road to past Toy Road. 2. Need to discuss the Road Tour at the next meeting. 3. Some concern of the culverts on Ridge Road. Town Treasurer- wants to attend Municipal Treasurers Association Spring Conference at a cost of less than $400. Tom Wolf made a motion to allow her to attend the conference. Dave Carolfi seconded. Motion carried. Adjourn – A motion was made by Tom Wolf to adjourn the board meeting; seconded by Dave Carolfi Motion carried.
