Monthly Board Meeting — Minutes

Seneca Town Hall 3540 County Highway Q Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495 Regular Monthly Board Meeting August 6, 2025 The Town of Seneca Board met for a regular meeting on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the town hall. Dean Oilschlager called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m, opening with the Pledge of Allegiance. In attendance were Dean Oilschlager, Dave Carolfi, Tom Wolf, Sheila Grosskreutz, Janet Hohl, Greg Stashek, Thad Brown, and Jackie Kitowski. Roll Call: All present Dave Carolfi made a motion to accept the minutes from the July 2, 2025 regular monthly Board Meeting. Tom Wolf seconded the motion. Motion carried. Tom Wolf made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report for July and pay the bills brought before the board. Dave Carolfi seconded the motion. Motion carried Public Input- None at this time Correspondence 1. Pipeline Safety pamphlet from Waste Management 2. Waste Management sent a pamphlet of information on services they provide in the community. 3. More information about the Highline going in over the Enbridge Pipeline 4. Information from the Department of Revenue about Equalized Value Adjustments 5. The Accessibility Report from the Election Commission came in and the corrections are listed. 6. E-recycling information was sent to the town again. The clerk will contact them for more information. 7. In the monthly Towns Association Magazine, the annual convention registration came out. The board is going to the convention. The clerk will register Dean, Dave, Tom, Jackie, Sheila, and Janet for the conference. 8. Fall Workshop is Monday, September 15th and Tom, Dean, Janet, and Sheila will be going. 9. August Unit Meeting is August 15th. Dean, Tom, and Jackie will be attending. Road Work 1 The County will gravel Range Road this week. Review the estimate for town hall roof repair from Dynamic Alliance Roofing. Thad Brown was at the meeting to explain the repair of the roof. The Town Hall is 20,130 ft. The estimate was for $18,250. After much discussion the board decided to cut down an oak tree that hangs over the roof. Dean will contact Hass Tree Care to get an estimate for the removal of the oak tree. Dave Carolfi made a motion to accept the estimate of $18,250 for the repair of the roof. Tom Wolf seconded the motion. Motion carried. Adjourn – A motion was made by Dave Carolfi to adjourn the board meeting; seconded by Tom Wolf. Motion carried.
