Board of Public Works MEETING MINUTES June 15, 2026 - 4:30 PM Council Chambers 3805 S. Casper Dr. MINUTES 1. PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR Each speaker will be limited to three (3) minutes. The Privilege of the Floor session shall not exceed a total of thirty (30) minutes. No members of the public (or attendees) spoke during this portion of the meeting. 2. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Ament called the meeting to order at 4:30pm 3. ROLL CALL; DECLARATION OF QUORUM; PUBLIC NOTICE DCD Office Assistant Kailyn Jackowick took the roll call as follows: Present: Board Member Seidl, Mayor Ament, Alderperson Maxey, Alderperson Horbinski, Alderperson Hopkins Staff Present: City Engineer Tammy Simonson, Deputy City Clerk Megan Godshall, DCD Office Assistant Kailyn Jackowick. Kailyn Jackowick confirmed that a quorum was present and that the meeting was properly posted in compliance with open meetings law. 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. 05/18/2026 Meeting Minutes MOTION: Motion to Approve Motion by: Alderperson Horbinski Second by: Board Member Seidl VOTE: Motion Passed 5-0 5. OLD BUSINESS No Items. 6. NEW BUSINESS A. ITEM 04-26 Discussion and possible recommendation to the Common Council to approve a Construction Contract for the 2026 Parking Lot Seal Coat Project. MOTION: Motion to Approve Motion by: Alderperson Hopkins Second by: Alderperson Horbinski VOTE: Motion Passed 5-0 B. ITEM 07-26 Discussion and possible recommendation to the Common Council to approve a Professional Services Agreement for the Real Estate Acquisition for the STH 59/Greenfield Avenue Rehabilitation Project. MOTION: Motion to Approve Motion by: Alderperson Maxey Second by: Alderperson Hopkins VOTE: Motion Passed 5-0 7. UPDATES A. 2026 Roadway Rehabilitation City Engineer Tamara Simonson gave an update on 2026 Roadway Rehabilitation efforts and the City of New Berlin's efforts to inform the public regarding roadway rehabilitation. B. 2026 Roadway Maintenance City Engineer Tamara Simonson gave an update on 2026 Roadway Maintenance efforts. 8.
