Town Board — Minutes

MINUTES of the Town Board Meeting October 5, 2022, at 7:00 P.M. Seneca Town Hall, 3540 County Hwy. Q, WI Rapids, WI 54495 Meeting certification & notification: This agenda has been posted in two physical locations and the Town of Seneca website to notify the public of the date, place & time.  Chairman Dean Oilschlager to call the meeting to order. Meeting called to order promptly at 7pm.  Approve minutes of regular board meeting held on September 7, 2022, and the Comprehensive Planning Meeting held on same day. Motion by T. Wolf and second by D. Carolfi. Motion carried.  Treasurer’s rreport & payment of bills. Motion to approve both Treasurer’s report and payment of bills by D. Carolfi and second by T. Wolf. Motion carried.  Public input. None.  Correspondence. Wood County sent a letter to approve the Wood County Zoning map. Motion to approve by D. Carolfi and second by T. Wolf. Motion carried. Notify Wood County Zoning department of this approval.  Discuss and/or act on 2023 budget. The preliminary 2023 budget was reviewed. A few revisions need to be made and will be reviewed at the November 2nd meeting.  Sign snow plowing agreement with the county. The snowplow agreement was signed by the Chairman for snowplowing to be done by the Wood County Highway Department.  Find a private snowplow company for the town hall and Altdorf community center. D. Carolfi will check into this more and provide a follow up at the November meeting.  Discuss and/or act on laptop for Town Clerk (Deputy Clerk to utilize current laptop). A new laptop was purchased for the Town Clerk.  Road Work Agenda items for next meeting: 2023 Budget Follow up on snowplowing for the Town Hall and the Altdorf Community Center. Update on TOS .gov email account(s). Approve Treasurer’s Bond paperwork. Approve Tax Newsletter Insiert Set meeting dates for special meetings to approve Budget & Tax Levy.  Adjourn.
