MINUTES August 3, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. Town Board Meeting Seneca Town Hall, 3540 County Hwy. Q, WI Rapids, WI 54495 Meeting certification & notification: This agenda has been posted in two physical locations and the Town of Seneca website to notify the public of the date, place & time. Chairman Dean Oilschlager to call the meeting to order. Naming & swearing in of Sandra Green as Deputy Town Clerk. Town Clerk, swore in Sandra Green to “Deputy Town Clerk”. Approve minutes of regular board meeting held on July 6, 2022. Motion by Dave, second by Tom. Motion carried. Approve minutes of Board of Review and Comprehensive Plan meetings. Motion by Tom, second by Dave. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report. Read by Sandra Green as Treasurer was absent. July, 2022, the beginning balance was $347,741.49. We took in receipts totaling $34,566.84. Withdrawals from the account were $24,810.55 for an ending balance of $357,497.78. ARPA funds in the amount of $45,347.56 were used to pay related invoices. Approve payment of bills. Motion by Tom, second by Dave. Motion carried. Public input. Nate and Lisa Coates were present to request a pond permit. An application was given and a permit was issued. Location is 3631 Swanson Rd., WIRAP. Correspondence. 1. Letter from State DOT, grant of $23,000 for Swanson Rd. 2. Email regarding wi.gov account set up, deadline is 8/15/22. 3. Renew WI Towns Assoc. dues for Deputy Clerk Sandra Green. Motion by Tom, second by Dave. Motion carried. 4. Discuss and approve the designation and vision of Town Clerk duties between Clerk and Deputy Clerk. Motion by Dave, second by Tom. Motion carried to approve division of duties with the change to share all election duties. Register for state convention. Sandra will register all who are interested. Register for fall conference. Sandra will register all who are interested. Discuss paying for extra copies of the comprehensive plan at $15.00 each. Discussed and approved for 5 more copies. Motion by Dave, second by Tom. Motion carried. The meeting to vote and approve the Comprehensive Plan is September 7, 2022 at 6:30 pm. Road Work. Hemlock will start on Wednesday, August 10th. Adjourn. Meeting adjourned at approximately 7:40. Motion by Dave, second by Tom. Motion carried.
