MINUTES TOWN OF SENECA Monthly Board Meeting April 6, 2022, 7:00 P.M. Seneca Town Hall, 3540 County Hwy. Q, WI Rapids, WI 54495 Meeting certification & notification: This agenda has been posted in three physical locations and the Town of Seneca website to notify the public of the date, place & time. Chairman Dean Oilschlager to call the meeting to order. Meeting called to order promptly at 7pm. Swearing in of new Town Supervisor, David Carolfi. Chair Oilschlager swore in Mr. Carolfi as Town Supervisor. The Town Clerk will contact WI Towns Association and send David Carolfi’s membership information. Approve minutes of regular Town Board meeting held on March 2, 2022 & Special Meeting held on March 23, 2022. Motion by D. Carolfi and second by T. Wolf. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report. Motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report and pay the bills by D. Carolfi and second by T. Wolf. Motion carried. Beginning balance, 327,778.15. Took in receipts of 1,207.44. Distributions of $12,625.43. Ending balance $316,360.16. Public input. Scheduling of the Annual Meeting, April 19, 2022 at 6pm at the Town Hall. Correspondence 1. Wood County Unit Meeting(s) dates. 2. Compost passes received. Placed in Town Hall for easy access. 3. Culvert & Driveway permitting. 4. LRIP program 5. RE: Delmore Consulting and inventory of culvers. Table until 2023. Place in 2023 budget for $6500. Act on Homestead Golf Course transfer of Liquor License. Motion by T. Wolf to approve new application for Jamie Williams for a liquor license and server licenses for Homestead Golf Course. Second by D. Carolfi. Sandra Green, Town Clerk will issue the appropriate paperwork and notice as required by State Statutes. Act on bid for mold remediation. ServPro offered an estimate. Offer submitted by ServPro and accepted. Motion by D. Carolfi and second by T. Wolf. Act on bid for replacement or upgrade to furnace and air conditioning. ComfortAire called and wanted to do the same, so this will be tabled until the May meeting for acceptance of offer. Discuss setting up a meeting of the Comprehensive Plan group to go over revisions of Chapters 1-5. Contact Fred Heider to set up a meeting in May for the Comprehensive Plan review. Road work – Contact the County Engineer regarding Hemlock Road from D to Brockman Road which will be in conjunction with the Ho-Chunk Nation. Motion by T. Wolf and second by D. Wolf to move forward with this project and proposed road construction. Motion carried. Motion to approve financing by T. Wolf and second by D. Carolfi to accept the County estimate for the Seneca road portion of approximately $71k and the Port road portion of approximately $29k . Motion to adjourn at 8:30 pm by D. Carolfi and second by T.
